With National Home Security Month occurring in October, now is the time to really think about how secure your home actually is. Especially, now that the darker months are creeping up on us. Figures show that in the darker months of the year, the number of home burglaries increase by 20% and most of these are through an open or unlocked window or door. We know that these figures can be decreased if we all got into the habit of locking all the windows and doors when leaving the house. However, resolving this issue is a different matter completely and very much comes down to the security of your windows and doors. Here at Quickslide, our windows and doors come with PAS 24 security upgrades making it virtually impossible for any burglar to get through! Quickslide recommend in accordance with National Home Security Month that all windows, upstairs and down, should be fitted with at least one appropriate key-operated lock. Get in touch with us today to find out how we can help secure your home.
