Quite simply, your new sliding sash windows will slide up and down, allowing you to control the ventilation of your property. When shut, both sashes will lock together at the midrail to prevent them from being opened and protecting your property. Most sash windows with the same finish inside and out will also come with a bottom and top sash ‘easy clean’ tilt inwards facility.
