uPVC Casement Windows
Sculptured Profile
For added character, the frame and opening sashes of each uPVC casement window is made using a stunning carving technique creating a traditional sculptured appearance. We use Deceuninck’s 2800 profile for our casement windows, offering high quality, attractive windows no matter the configuration.
Corner Joints
Our standard welding technique creates tightly bonded corners, resulting in a seamless and robust connection. The 45° corner welds undergo thorough cleaning with advanced machinery to achieve a pristine finish on the frame.
Recycled Core Material
The recycled core, made from reclaimed uPVC, help reduce waste and the environmental impact of manufacturing processes. While the outer layer remains made from virgin uPVC to ensure a smooth white finish and optimal performance, the inner core can incorporate recycled content without compromising structural integrity or performance.
Astragal Bars
Astragal bars are fixed onto the surface of the glass and are accompanied by back-to-back spacer bars inside the unit. Historically, astragal bars were used to divide larger panes of glass into smaller sections, which was practical when manufacturing larger sheets of glass was more challenging or expensive. They can be fitted in various layouts, such as horizontal or vertical bars, to complement different architectural styles and preferences.
Multi-point Locking Mechanism
uPVC windows come equipped with a multi-point locking mechanism, providing unparalleled security and peace of mind. This advanced system features multiple locking points that engage simultaneously when the window is closed, distributing the locking force evenly along the frame.
Friction Stay
A friction stay is a key component used in uPVC casement windows to provide smooth, controlled opening and closing. Unlike traditional hinges, friction hinges allow these windows to stay open at various angles without the need for additional support or a mechanical stay.
Trickle Vent
New Building Regs state that trickle vents are required on virtually all glazing elements. The purpose of the vents is to allow airflow even when the window is closed. Our trickle vents are colour-matched to match the chosen finish of our uPVC windows and are available in two different sizes: 2500EA and 5000EA.
Sill Options
Our uPVC windows come with a variety of sill options to meet the functional needs of the window opening.
Choose between: No sill / 95mm / 150mm / 180mm

Glazing Options
Double Glazing
Our casement windows, featuring 28mm double glazing, offer exceptional thermal insulation properties. Each window consists of two glass panes with a sealed pocket of argon gas in between, effectively minimising heat transfer. As standard, our double glazed windows come with an impressive energy rating of ‘A’. This high level of energy performance is achieved without compromising on style or durability, making Quickslide’s uPVC casement windows a smart investment for any homeowner.
Triple Glazing
We also offer an optional upgrade to triple glazing on our casement windows. By incorporating an extra pane of glass and an additional argon gas space between the panes, triple glazing significantly enhances the window’s ability to retain heat. With this advanced glazing option, our windows can achieve U-values as low as 1.0, providing maximum energy efficiency and comfort for any home.
Spacer Bars
Spacer bars are placed around the perimeter of the glass panes to provide essential structural support and maintain consistent spacing between the panes. Choose from our selection of three bar colours to complement your window’s aesthetic and enhance its overall appeal.

Laminated Glass
You have the option to upgrade your traditional casement windows with laminated glass for enhanced safety while still keeping your windows performing efficiently. A key benefit of laminated glass lies in its safety features. It’s designed to stay together if broken, rather than shattering into lots of sharp pieces.
Venetian Integral Blinds
Venetian integral blinds provide a stylish and practical solution for casement windows. Integrated seamlessly within the double-glazed unit, these blinds offer homeowners privacy, light control, and enhanced energy efficiency. Available in a variety of 10 different colours to complement your chosen frame finish. Please note that the operational device will always be positioned on the right-hand side (viewed internally).
