uPVC Flush Casement Windows
External Flush Contours
Our flush casement windows replicate the traditional timber look with sashes that sit flush within the frame, making them ideal for both modern and heritage homes. The external flush contours mimic the appearance of traditional timber windows, perfect for maintaining the character of heritage homes such as traditional cottages.
Internal Frame Detail
The internal side of our flush sash windows features a minimalistic uPVC frame that can complement virtually any interior design. The sleek interior frame detail creates a seamless transition between the window and your interior décor. Only the external side of the flush windows sits flush within the frame. The internal side resembles the internal side of our classic uPVC casement windows.
Corner Welds
Our standard welding technique guarantees tightly bonded corners, resulting in a seamless and robust connection. The 45° corner welds undergo thorough cleaning with advanced machinery to achieve a pristine finish on the frame.
Astragal Bars
Our astragal bars are fixed on the glass surface with back-to-back spacer bars inside the glass unit. Available on double glazing, they can be configured horizontally or vertically to suit various architectural styles such as Victorian windows. Historically, these bars divided larger panes into smaller sections, echoing traditional window designs.
Multi-point Locking Mechanism
For enhanced security, our uPVC flush sash windows are fitted with a multi-point locking mechanism. This system ensures multiple locking points engage simultaneously, distributing the locking force evenly across the frame for added security and peace of mind.
Friction Stay
A friction stay is a key component used in windows to provide smooth, controlled opening and closing. Unlike traditional hinges, friction hinges allow these windows to stay open at various angles without the need for additional support or a mechanical stay. Additionally, egress hinges are available, which not only enhance the functionality of the window by allowing it to open fully for easy cleaning but also provide an escape route in case of emergencies – limitations may apply.
Trickle Vent
In line with 2022 Building Regulations, our flush sash windows include trickle vents fitted into the head of the sash to provide airflow even when the windows are closed. These vents, which are colour-matched to your chosen window finish, come in two sizes: 2500EA and 5000EA.
Sill Options
Our uPVC flush windows come with a variety of sill options to meet the functional needs of the window opening.
Choose between: No sill / 95mm / 150mm / 180mm

Glazing Options
Double Glazing
Our flush sash windows feature 28mm double glazing with argon gas inserted within the glazed pocket, keeping more warmth inside the home. The glass consists of a 4mm layer of clear Low E glass which helps to improve the thermal efficiency of our windows by reducing the amount of heat that can pass through the glass while still allowing light to enter.
Triple Glazing
Upgrade your flush windows with our triple glazing option, featuring three panes of glass with argon gas sealed between each of the two pockets. Triple glazing works similarly to double glazing but provides an additional insulation barrier. The extra pane of glass in triple glazing significantly improves the insulation values, making it ideal for climates where temperatures can drop below freezing.
Spacer Bars
Spacer bars are placed around the perimeter of the glazed unit in our uPVC flush sash windows. They provide crucial structural support and ensure consistent spacing between the panes. You can select from three bar colours to match your window’s aesthetic.

Laminated Glass
Our glass upgrades include laminated glass for enhanced safety. Laminated glass remains intact if broken, reducing the risk of injury from sharp pieces. Laminated glass is often used in doors and windows installed in areas where the glass could be subject to impact.
Venetian Integral Blinds
For added convenience and style, consider Venetian integral blinds, integrated within the double-glazed unit. These blinds offer privacy and light control, available in 10 different colours to complement your window’s frame finish. Please note that the operational device will always be positioned on the right-hand side (viewed internally).

Weatherproofing
Our heritage flush casement windows demonstrate every aspect of innovation, making them a front runner in both performance and style. To keep out the wind and rain we use high performing and multifunctional weather seals. The seal helps to maintain consistent comfort. These windows have been rigorously weather-tested to help maintain consistent comfort that provide reliable protection season after season.
Thermal Efficiency
Our flush fitting windows are designed with exceptional thermal efficiency in mind, capable of achieving U-values as low as 1.0. This high level of insulation helps reduce heat loss, which can make homes more energy-efficient and comfortable year-round. The uPVC frame is multichambered, providing additional thermal performance by trapping pockets of air to prevent heat transfer.
Security
Our flush casement window systems have been designed to help keep the home safe and secure. Safety is at the top of most homeowners’ lists, which is why security is an integral built-in feature of our flush casement windows. All our windows come with multi point locking systems as standard and for added peace of mind, ask about our enhanced PAS 24 security upgrade.

FAQs
View All FAQsDo you offer flush Georgian windows?
Our flush sash windows are available with astragal bars to match Georgian windows. We make all our flush sash windows in-house and the homeowner, therefore, has the flexibility of choosing their own bar layout to recreate a window design from their chosen era.
Are flush fit windows considered heritage windows?
Heritage – or traditionally styled windows – are growing in demand, in particular the flush sash. It is fair to say that they have invigorated the replacement window market, where just a few years ago the choice for most homeowners replacing their windows was standard casements. Flush sash windows sit alongside our sliding sash windows offering true heritage window designs.
Are flush windows more expensive?
The flush sash window style is a premium offering and therefore generally, the flush sash style is slightly more expensive than classic casement windows.
Will uPVC casement windows reduce the noise levels from outside?
If you are replacing your single glazed windows with new casement windows from Quickslide, the homeowner will likely see a noticeable reduction in noise pollution. With the extra layer of glass found in the double glazed unit, less sound will be able to filter in.
